Denver Concert Photography of Andy Palmer at The Walnut Room

Concert Photography of Andy Palmer – Denver, CO – May 2013

I created some great concert photography of Andy Palmer at Denver’s Walnut Room. Last Saturday night I had the honor to shoot Andy’s CD release show at the Walnut Room. Andy recently released his second, full-length album “Hazard of the Die” (available here). Andy had a full stage of some of Denver’s best musicians, including a two-piece string section, keys, background vocalist and a trumpet. The set included new songs, “The Monk,” the ode to our famous Colfax Avenue, “Heart of Colfax” and the rocking “Good Son.” “Hazard of the Die” has received some serious positive feedback and reviews–along with a feature piece on Andy’s musical journey. The album has been called “damn near epic” by Westword and given 4 out of 5 stars by Marquee Magazine.

Along with Tage (Plantell), I have worked closely with Andy over the last several months on the album’s CD cover art, along with a music video for “The Monk. Andy is a good friend and I couldn’t be more proud to be part of his “team;” I am continually inspired (as we all should be) by his hard work, courage, talents and drive to follow his path.

Enjoy the images!
